Receive rental proposal and upload documents

If you want to be considered for a property, you must:

  1. enter the 3-digit code [code] to the property in your Profile Card within 24 hours from the start of the open house. The Profile Card is only accessible with a Faster Rent account.

  2. complete the Datakeeper pre-registration via the QR code and your DigiD account (with username and password).

24 hours after the open house, you will then receive an automatic rental proposal from us, which you must accept or reject within 24 hours.

Please note: by entering the 3-digit code and sharing your data with our system, you indicate that you actually want to rent the property. If you are in doubt, do not do this, but wait for a property that is more suitable for you.

Below is what a rental proposal looks like approximately:

Rental proposal Example Street 12 in Example City!

Hi [name prospective-tenant],

Thank you for entering the 3-digit code and for sharing your details via Datakeeper. Prospective tenants who have not done so within the past 24 hours no longer count on the waiting list for this property. So this is a great step forward. On your way to your new home!

You currently have the [#]th spot on the waiting list for this property. The higher you are on the waiting list, the more chance you have. However, it regularly happens that someone with a lower position on the waiting list is still awarded the property. This may be because the house was not suitable for the other person, or because they did not respond in time. Exciting!

It is now important that you let us know within 24 hours whether you agree to this rental proposal.

You therefore hereby receive our rental proposal based on the details you have entered in your profile.
PLEASE NOTE: if the details are incorrect or incomplete, we will not be able to allocate the property to you. So always make sure your profile is filled in perfectly!

Accept or reject rental proposal

Do you accept or reject the rental proposal? Please always let us know within the deadline mentioned in the rental proposal. To do so, simply select the desired button (Accept or Reject) in your Profile Card.

You can accept as many rental proposals as you want to increase your chances. Do this only for properties you would actually want to rent, though.

  • Accept rental proposal: then the process continues for you. You can read exactly how this works in this article: https://docs.verhuurtbeter.nl/nl/articles/8473085-van-huurovereenkomst-naar-oplevering-van-de-huurwoning

  • Reject rental proposal: always enter the reason for rejection clearly, e.g.: rent too high after all, house too small, location is not optimal, prefer another place etc, so that we can help you better next time. If you no longer find certain properties interesting, please remove them from your selected properties. Then we won't offer you the wrong property for nothing either. Of course, we hope to offer you a more suitable property soon.
Please note: not responding to a rental proposal in time delays process for everyone. If you don't respond to a rental proposal all favorite properties without a code will be deleted from your Profile Card.

After this, we will continue with the prospective tenant who has accepted the rental proposal and is then at the top of the waiting list.

From this point, you can already start uploading the requested documents. Read more about checking your source data and the documents we ask for here.
